Our meetings are normally held every first and third Wednesday at 7:30 PM. (Excluding December) COVID 19 keeps forcing us to make unwelcome changes. At this time our meetings begin at 6:30 PM and only on the 1st Wednesday of each month. As soon as COVID restrictions are lifted we will resume our normal schedule. Please do arrive early so that you may meet our members. We do have to relinquish our meeting room a few times a year depending if the comunity center has some event planned on a Wednesday evening. Those scheduling conflicts are rare. Check our FaceBook page for the latest info.
Our club members begin to arrive at about 6:45 PM on meeting nights. We usally share stories about recent coin shows, recent aquisitions, news and events related to coins. Usually there are coins up on the auction table and members and Visitors alike may browse the for sale items.
At 7:30 we begin the business part of the meeting and often have a brief coin related training presentation. We try to keep the business portion under 30 minutes.
Next we will have an attendance drawing and begin getting ready for the auction. There are a wide range of items for sale. It can be very fun.
Check out an interesting read about Preparing a Winning Exhibit this will help you as you prepare to create a showstopping exhibit for your coins and numistmatic interests.
